The purpose of this assessment was to collect and analyze data indicating the extent to which the MAT program in the Kyrgyz Republic complies with the minimal recommendations developed by World Health Organization for psychosocially assisted pharmacological treatment of opioid dependence and the Principles of drug dependence treatment. The overall goal of this assessment was to provide data to inform improvements in opioid drug dependence treatment, particularly MAT, services in the Kyrgyz Republic.
